Exciting Week! :0)

A recap of my week!

Saturday afternoon, my dad left with 10 other men from my Church for a Missions trip to Haiti.  You see, we have a Thrift Store at my church called “Bargain World” and all of the proceeds of the facility are sent to Missions.  Bargain World has funded the building of quite a few churches worldwide.  This team’s purpose was building a Church in Haiti!  They are coming back home today and I can’t wait to see them!!  I think I’ll bring my puppy dogs along to greet my dad when he returns!  He’ll be thrilled! :0)

Speaking of puppy dogs, mine were groomed this week!

I LOVE the bow in Pixie’s hair!  Our groomer had NO idea that it was our Anniversary this week and she used our wedding colors in Pixie’s bow!  Is that a coincidence or what?! 

 

Tuesday night was our Annual Service Awards Banquet for our Hospital!

  

It was held at the beautiful Country Club and my husband was able to come along! Yay!

I received my 5 year certificate and a book to order an item of my choosing. I think I may go with a piece of jewelry, but I haven’t completely decided yet!

Thursday night, Jason and I celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary along with a group of friends!  We were married on the same day as one of the girls birthday’s, so we decided we’d all celebrate together!

We got super dressed up, even though not everyone was as dressed up as we were!

The food was to die for!  We had Fried Asparagus, Jason had the Surf and Turf, and I had Salmon topped with crab meat!

For dessert, we had Bananas Foster which I do have to say does NOT top the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding dessert at  Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort! (Even though it was pretty darn awesome!)  :0)

Friday night, my friends invited me to a local park for Movies Under the Stars!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!!!!!!!!!! Yay!

They set up a huge screen and a local entertainment company did the sound!  It was perfect and completely amazing!  What made the whole night even better was they played Disney music while we waited for the sun to go down!  If my friends didn’t know what movie some of the songs were from, they would ask me!  Hah!

We also had fun quoting the movie and singing along. It really was a great night!

I was having so much fun that I didn’t pay attention to the clock and before I knew it, I had to leave!  It was 11:30 p.m. and I had plans to meet my running group friends for an 8 mile run starting at 5:30 a.m.!  Yikes!

So, on only FOUR hours of sleep, I got ready and met my friends downtown this morning for our run!  We had a great time as usual and even stopped for a picture with this peculiar fellow!
