First off, thank you SO much to everyone for the well wishes as I’m recovering! I’m feeling a lot better and can’t wait to get back to “real” running…but not TOO soon! :0)
----------------------------------------------------------
Be sure to check out Part 1 of my Disney World at Christmas Recap!
After a few hours of sleep, we were up at 7 a.m. to begin our Animal Kingdom/Magic Kingdom day! Lack of sleep definitely dominated this trip!! :D
Animal Kingdom!!!
We stopped at Everest first for fast passes, then walked over to Flights of Wonder.
I’m not a huge bird person, but I do like this show!
The tour guide is my favorite! He’s so silly!!!
We also had lunch at Flame Tree! We haven’t eaten here in a LONG time! We usually eat table service in Animal Kingdom, but since we weren’t on a dining plan this trip, we were able to eat anywhere we wanted to!
So Flame Tree it was!!
Yummy!
We also rode one of my favorite attractions in AK, Dinosaur!
Yeah, we know where the cameras are….. :0)
Can’t go to AK without seeing Lion King!!
We used our Fast Passes for Everest, too!
Last but not least, we saw Bug’s Life, then we continued on our way to Magic Kingdom!
Honorary Bugs!
We made it!
I love Toy Soldiers!! :0)
We were not expecting these crowds! It was crazy!!!
Love the Main Street Band!
We had early dinner reservations at Liberty Tree. They even sat us in the same table as the one we sat in for our Honeymoon! AWWW! :0)
2011
2007…aww! :0)
Ok moving on! Yummy food!!
If you haven’t eaten at LTT, I highly recommend it! The food is amazing, especially at dinner….it’s the Pilgrim’s Feast (all you can eat) and it’s AMAZING!
I didn’t realize this until we arrived, but the week of Christmas, the Magic Kingdom stops Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and takes on a lot of the Party schedule during regular park hours! I was ECSTATIC when I discovered that fact!
First, we lined up at the Castle to watch the Castle Lighting Ceremony….
As we were waiting, the Move it Shake it parade came through!
Castle Lighting!
Gorgeous!
After watching the Castle Lighting, we decided to ride Pirates and Haunted Mansion. I noticed that Peter Pan’s Flight had a wait time of 90 minutes. For a TWO and a HALF minute ride. NO THANK YOU.
We also enjoyed a Dole Whip and HEY! Look who we found again!! :0) Melissa and Randy came out to play!
After the Dole Whips, we walked through this awful ginormous crowd to get to Tomorrow Land. It was insane, really. However, we had a destination – Laugh Floor. Guess what? Jason was nominated to purchase Churros for everyone in the room. How generous of him, right? :0)
After spending a little time in Tomorrowland, we made our way back to Main Street to watch “Celebrate the Season”. The last time I attended MVMCP, I missed out on a lot of the shows, so I wanted to see as many as possible! :0)
We also stayed in our spot to watch the Electric Light Parade!
It was beautiful as always!
After the parade came the Fireworks. Yes, we were super close to the castle, but didn’t want to stay THAT close. We made our way back and then realized our mistake. Main Street was PACKED. A Cast Member holding a light up in the air said, “If you want to watch the Fireworks, follow me…” so we kind of “crowd dove” through a ton of people and she led us to an open patch where no one was standing! Pretty crazy! We were also WAY closer so that Cast Member received a gold star in my opinion!!!
We rode Splash Mountain after the fireworks….
….and Haunted Mansion again….
Fantasyland Expansion!
It was getting late by this point so our Honeymoon friends said farewell as Jason and I walked over to Space Mountain.
This is my favorite picture of the entire trip! Love it!
We rode Space Mountain, then said goodbye to another amazing day in Disney World…and once again, I didn’t want to leave. However, it was almost THREE A.M.….SEE? I told you we were sleep deprived……
And we couldn’t find our car! Where oh where was it parked?! Hah! :0) ((Kidding…))
Stay tuned for part 3!

You two are such a stinkin' cute couple! ;) That looks sooo fun...maybe someday I'll go there on my honeymoon, too--that would be two dreams-come-true for this Princess-loving girl. :)
