Disney World at Christmas Recap Part 1
Disney World at Christmas Recap Part 2
At the end of Part 2 of our trip recap, we were leaving Magic Kingdom at almost 3 a.m. Yes, 3 a.m. What a day!
We got back to our hotel room and went right to sleep – we were EXHAUSTED! The following day, we had a busy schedule planned for Hollywood Studios! We made it to the gate for opening at 8 a.m. Crazy, right? Only 4 hours of sleep, my friends….
We grabbed fast passes for Toy Story Mania first, then we got into the single riders line for Rock N Roller Coaster.
Somehow Jason and I ended up riding this together so it worked out nice! :0)
We walked down the Streets of America in the daylight! Crazy how much different it looks at night!
I saw this window and it got excited for our Disney Cruise in the Fall with my In-Laws!!
Anyone know where this is from? I got SO excited the first time I saw it a few years ago! We were on the Backlot Tour and this chicken house is right before you get on the actual ride! It’s from the Hannah Montana Movie. Yes, I’m like 12…29 years old.
Walt’s Plane!
I took my usual picture with Mousketeer Karen in One Man’s Dream….
I hadn’t seen this attraction since the update. I’m kind of sad they removed the whole part about Walt passing away. I thought it made the attraction more personal. Oh well. I think it’s funny……Jason definitely fell asleep during the movie at the end of One Man’s Dream. Yes, we were ALL very exhausted!
Jason also kicked my tail on Toy Story Mania! I had him most of the game until right at the end! Poo face! I’ll beat him one day!!!
Our reservation for Sci-Fi wasn’t until 2 p.m. (that’s the only time I could get for four people). We had to wait a little while for our table but the wait wasn’t long…
The people in the car next to us crack me up! I asked their dad to take a picture for us. Their mom is ducking down behind me! Hah!
Yummy milkshakes!!!
After dinner, we watched Beauty and the Beast. I am fake sleeping because I thought it was funny. The other two…not so much….
We rode Star Tours again and got to see a different video from the one we saw two days prior! I love how they have 3 different versions of the same ride!
We also got to see Indiana Jones (I haven’t watched that one in a while….)
After Indiana Jones, we made our way to the Streets of America (yes, again…) and stood right in front of the tree. Our Honeymoon friends hadn’t seen the show yet!
It didn’t disappoint!
I have a rather funny story to tell about the Osborne Lights. After we watched the tree light up, I wanted to show the manger and a few other things to our friends. We began walking towards the back of the street and as you can imagine, the crowds were crazy. Clusters of people were grouped all over the street. That’s just how it is.
I approached an opening right between two groups of people. A woman was walking towards me and decided she wanted to go through the same opening. We made eye contact, and instead of stopping (I was closer to the opening than she was), she clasped her hands together in front of her (as if she were about to dive off a diving board) and started to BARRELL through the hole. I’m not kidding you…..she literally crowd dove – but people weren’t watching her so she knocked a lot of people over, including ME. I had to grab a random stranger next to me to prevent from busting my face. I mean really. Come on people. It’s Disney World and it’s Christmas time. If you didn’t want to be in a lot of crowds and if you can’t handle a lot of crowds, then you SHOULD NOT HAVE COME!! I was livid. After I righted myself, she wasn’t far away from me and I yelled “REALLY!? ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME?!” as loud as I could. I hope she heard me. She never turned back around. Obviously she didn’t care.
Anyway, I got over my anger and we began a search for Hidden Mickeys!
It was fun….but once again, the crowds were insane!
We stayed just a few minutes, then booked it over to seating for Fantasmic.
Awesome show as always!
Our Honeymooning friends left us after Fantasmic. I had to walk down the Streets of America just ONE more time….to say goodbye, of course! :0)
What a great day! By 8 p.m., we were definitely exhausted and only 4 hours of sleep had caught up to us!
Up next: Part 4, our final day in Disney World!
I can't wait to get to go there someday, looks like you are having so much fun!
