I can hardly believe that our Disney Princess Weekend trip is over! Heather and I have been talking about this trip for a year now and it went by SO fast!
On Friday afternoon, I got off work and saw my Physical Therapists. They told me everything looked/felt wonderful and they wished me well on my run!
I made it home, grabbed my bags, picked up my mom, then we were FINALLY on the road!! I can’t believe that was all a week ago today! CRAZY!
We drove to New Orleans to meet up with Heather’s mom, then onto Biloxi to spend the night at Heather’s house. She wasn’t home – she was already in Disney at a special RunDisney event!
Friday morning, we left Biloxi around 3:45 a.m. and began the 9ish hour drive to Disney!
YAY we made it!!!!
First stop: The Expo!
It was all about the Princesses this weekend! Red carpets, tiaras, pixie dust….it was awesome!

Getting Pixie Dusted!
Our mom’s closed their eyes when the shield was put over their face, so we made them take a picture with their eyes closed! Hah!
Yay! Hello friend! :0)
I met up with Mrs. United States for a quick picture (didn’t know she was going to be running near us most of the race!)
We also spun for free bags of rice! Too funny!
SO excited for the weekend’s festivities!
After the Expo, we had to pack all of Heather’s stuff in the vehicle along with our own. Wow. Needless to say, she couldn’t see out of the back window!
We made it to the Grand!!
We had a gorgeous room with a great view!!
I loved listening to the band/piano every night!
The Lobby
After getting settled, we had appetizers in the concierge lounge, then we boarded a Monorail for EPCOT for the Pasta Party!!
