Rock and Roll New Orleans, here I come!!

We are on our way to Rock and Roll New Orleans weekend!!

 

I’m excited but VERY nervous all at the same time! Since I’ve been injured, my long runs haven’t been all that long. So here I am – about to attempt the FULL Marathon. Not my brightest idea, I know….ah well.

I’m also running this race with American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation team!!

This will be my 2nd year in a row to run with DetermiNation and I’m super excited about it! The energy on the course from last year’s cheerleaders was amazing and I’m hoping for the same atmosphere this year. I KNOW that I will need it!

I’m excited about the weekend festivities! The DNation people have a lot of fun activities planned for their runners! Yay!

I’m also wearing this sign on my back!! Injured but DetermiN-ed to finish is my new motto!! I will cross that finish line if it takes running, walking, or crawling!

If you think about me on Sunday morning, please say a prayer or two for me! Pray that my knee/leg holds up! I know I’ll need the prayers!
