Product Review: Nairn’s Oat Cookies

Recently, I was contacted by a company called Nairn’s and asked to host a product review.

I was sent two different types of Nairn’s cookies as well as a coupon and a recipe sheet for ways to use Nairn’s Oat crackers!

After I received the box of Nairn’s goodies and browsed through the contents, I decided to check out Nairn’s website for a bit more information. What I discovered was pretty nifty!

Nairn’s has been been baking oatcakes since 1888! They use only wholegrain oats grown in the nearby Scottish Borders (with the exception of Gluten Free), where the climate is perfect for slowly ripening the grains. (Nairn’s is a UK based company but sells their product here in the US – see below for a list of  locations.)

Per their website:
Today, we now have a versatile range of oatcakes, oat biscuits, oaty bakes and gluten free products which do not contain any artificial colourings, flavours or preservatives.

You could say that here at Nairn’s we really do know our oats. We also know the importance of keeping our delicious award winning products as simple, wholesome and healthy as possible – the proof is in the taste.

Nairn’s products are:

  • All natural
  • Have zero trans fat
  • Baked with wholegrain oats
  • All wheat free
  • No gmos

I was sent two boxes of cookies – Mixed Berries Oat Cookies and Stem Ginger Oat Cookies.

Personally, I really liked the Mixed Berry cookies while my husband favored the Stem Ginger flavor.

I was not sure what to expect with these cookies but I really enjoyed them! They had great flavor and a smooth texture.
