Hi friends! Hope you guys had a fabulous weekend! It’s Sunday night an I’m currently sitting on the couch, nursing a nasty stomach bug. It hit me on Saturday and left me feeling incredibly yucky all day Sunday. I’m hoping to feel better soon!
Anyway, on to our weekend! Saturday night, Jason and I attended the birthday party of a girl from church. She is turning 18 on the 18th, so this was also her GOLDEN birthday!
For starters, these invitations definitely caught my attention! I LOVE them!
Walt Disney Character Cast Members only, you say?
I so got that!!
After much begging and pleading, my husband agreed to accompany me as….
A Wildcat!!
Since we were “All In This Together”, we “Got Our Heads in the Game” and celebrated Lacey’s birthday in style! :0) Any High School Musical fans out there? Jason’s shirt is even from the movie…it says, “I Majored in Vacation”!
From the moment we arrived at the party, I was in awe! There were SO many little details around, my brain couldn’t contain it all! I was on Disney overload!
Photo areas:
The Yellow Brick Road and Under The Sea
Rapunzel’s Tower
Piglet’s House
Andy’s Room
The Décor:
Snow White…the basket has apples and cupcakes made to look like apples! Adorable! The mirror also says, “Who’s the fairest of them all?”
The Hundred Acre Wood – Tigger Tails (pretzel rods) and maple cream cupcakes! (SO delicious)
Also notice the Mike Wazowski cupcakes and “boo-berry” cookies!
Princess area
Her favors were little cups full of “Pixie Dust”!
Under The Sea – the coral even had a “dinglehopper” attached! Also, the glass bowl contained blue jello and had gummy fishies on the bottom!
Lacey won the finale of The American Idol Experience back in November. They were visiting Hollywood Studios on vacation and decided to stop in and try it out…and she won!
Little hidden Disney touches were EVERYWHERE. I’m telling you, this girl had my dream party!!
Look at that CAKE!
The Cast of Characters:
The Birthday girl!
That Dalmatian better watch out…Cruella’s in town!
Boo! No, really…it’s Boo!
The Mad Hatter and Alice
Mr. Incredible
Even Captain Jack Sparrow (after a shave) was there to celebrate!
Rapunzel complete with a frying pan!
Wreck it Ralph, Vanellope, and Fix it Felix!
Peter Pan and Mary Poppins
Tigger and Ariel!
There was even an autograph book for everyone to sign!
This pillowcase was by far the best gift, ever! If I understood correctly, it was from her Aunt and it said, “Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins”!
After presents, we enjoyed a slice of cake, then said our goodbyes! We had a very enjoyable night and loved every minute of it!
Have you ever attended a costume party? What did you dress up as?
