Fitness Friday–10/18

Currently training for: Woman’s Half Marathon - December 8, Louisiana
Rock N Roll New Orleans Half Marathon – February 2, 2013, Louisiana

Saturday – 8 mile run with the running group – IT Band issues
Sunday – Rest Day
Monday – Foam rolling, stretching, and icing  
Tuesday – Foam rolling, stretching, icing
Wednesday – Cross Train
Thursday – 3 mile run
Friday – Travel Day

Well, this week has not been my best in terms of workouts…I took it easy because of the tightness I felt in my IT Band during Saturday’s long run. I attempted another run yesterday and thankfully, all seemed well!

I have an interesting weekend planned, you’ll see what I mean by this afternoon. I can’t say a whole lot at this moment, apart from the fact that I am flying into Tampa today and will return home on Sunday.   2. Taking it easy is SO hard. I have taken off two days in a row (gasp!) due to a nagging pain in my foot. I feel like I haven't run in weeks! Listening to our bodies is a must, but so hard to do! Happy Friday!
