Fitness Friday–5/30

TGIF!

FitnessFriday

Here’s how my week looked:

Saturday – 3 mile run around Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
Sunday – EPCOT day (lots of walking)
Monday –  Bridge and Boot Camp workout with the running group
Tuesday – Unexpected rest day (Niece’s1st b-day party right after work)
Wednesday – Rest Day (special event at church night I had to help set up for)
Thursday – Softball with Jason (now my arm HURTS…I’m getting old!)
Friday – Running after work

Saturday, I’m thinking I will try for 10 miles – it may turn into 8 though, we’ll see!

Leigha Turns One

On Monday night, we celebrated a 1st birthday with our niece, Leigha. she lives in Kansas so we don’t get to see her often. She sure is a cutie!

Softball

Last night, I picked this guy up for the first time in years. Jason and I threw the ball around for a while – he tossed grounders, fly balls, made me run for some, made me dive for a few…it was so much fun! I forgot how much I missed it. Talk about a workout, too! I was drenched by the time the sun disappeared! We’re definitely going to do that again sometime soon!

Silhouette Cameo

This arrived yesterday, my new toy! I’m so excited to figure out how to use it…hopefully this will help my scrapbooking by encouraging me to get caught up! Anyone have one? Are you a fan?

What’s on tap for your weekend? Hope you’re enjoying the beginnings of summer!!

  1. Oh that new toy! My friend just got a silhouette, I do not know if they are comparable but any crafting toy makes me excited. Although I am so far from a crafter...I try ;-)

  2. Those photos of your little niece at her birthday party are so cute. She is adorable! Not much on tap for me this weekend other than a 6 mile run with my running pals and packing for a trip next week!

  3. Oh man, I haven't played baseball in ages! I always had fun throwing the ball around back in college.

Not too much for me this weekend...gonna see Maleficent and go to lunch with the hubs! Maybe do a bit of Tri gear shopping to see if I can find a good deal.

  4. I love the fact that you and Jason play baseball together. I wish I had someone to play ball with :(

That scrapbook contraption looks pretty cool ( although I have no idea what it is). I don't have the patience for traditional scrapbooking but I love looking at them. I do hope that you share your creations. I'd love to see them!

  5. It looks like you've had quite a week! I haven't had a chance to throw around a baseball in what seems like forever. That would be fun!

You got to EPCOT last Sunday? Well, I'm going to Disneyland and DCA tomorrow! It will be my first time as a guest in Disneyland since two days before Christmas and my first time in a Disney theme park since I was in the Magic Kingdom the day after the Marathon in January. This trip is long overdue! I can't wait!

  6. That Cameo looks nice! Some of my favorite scrapbooking tools are Mickey shaped paper punches. :)
