Gone For A Run Journal Review

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review a super cute running journal by Gone For A Run!

Disclaimer: This journal was sent to me free of charge, all opinions are my own.

Let’s start at the beginning – Gone For A Run is an awesome company that makes pretty much anything a runner can get their hands on…from medal hangers and jewelry to mugs, magnets, shirts, and so much more! Seriously, you should check out their website. Looking for the perfect gift for a runner in your life? Gone For A Run has it!! Birthdays? Christmas? You name it, they have it!

When asked to choose a journal style, I was stumped – there were SO many cute ones to choose from! I finally decided on this one:

Gone For A Run (1)

…because I’m a princess, duh.

No…kidding…I just really liked everything about the cover! Isn’t it cute?

I received the journal in the mail shortly after returning from our cruise and I immediately began logging my races from 2015 inside.

Gone For A Run (2)

I decided to use this journal to log all of my races, results, and thoughts, but it can be used to log any weekday/long run, etc.

Gone For A Run (5)

It even has a checklist in the very front where you can write out your goals!

Gone For A Run (4)

One of my favorite things about this journal is the inspirational quotes on the bottom of every single page!

Gone For A Run (7)

This quote is in magnet format on my fridge! :)

Gone For A Run (8)

In the very back of the book is a place to log weekly stats and race results!

Gone For A Run (9)

Another favorite journal page of mine is the place where you can list your “Bucket List” races!

Gone For A Run (10)

Last but not least are several pages for notes.

I can’t wait to continue using this journal as a way to keep track of my races, race times/PR’s, and overall thoughts from each event! This would also make a great gift item for any runner – personalized cover options are available, too! Go check them out and see what you think! :)

Thanks to Gone For A Run for the opportunity to review their product! :)

Do you have a way of logging your weekday runs/races? Where/how do you log them if so?

  1. Cute journal Karen. I have logged all my training runs/races since I started running over 4 years ago. I don't have a cute book, but do like to be able to look back occasionally at what I did during the same time frame the prior year or two.

  2. This looks like a great journal! I enjoy having a place to write down my training so I can look back at it. Once I'm back on the road again I might have to pick one up.
