For May, I’m moving away from the parks and heading to the coast for a few shots at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Jason and I stayed overnight here with a few friends last May and enjoyed everything about our stay! The resort is incredibly serene, they serve Dole Whips by the pool (amazing, hello!), there’s even a character breakfast available on Saturday mornings! (FYI, that was one of the best character interactions we’d ever had!) Although Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a part of the Disney Vacation Club, you don’t have to be a DVC member to stay here!
Would we return again? Absolutely. I do think I would like to visit Disney’s Hilton Head Resort or Aulani first, though (not necessarily in that order)! :)

Have you visited Vero Beach or any other “off property” DVC resorts? What were your thoughts?
My family and I have visited Disney's Vero Beach Resort every year for the last 10 years. It's give us the Disney vibe and service that we are looking for without the hustle of visiting a park. We visited Aulani the year it opened and we have been dying to go back. The property is gorgeous and the activities were amazing. If you go, try ocean kayaking.
ReplyDeleteYES exactly!! I felt the same way! Thanks for the tip! Aulani is definitely on my wish-list! :)

DeleteThe resort looks amazing! I've never had a Dole Whip! I always go for the Gray Goose Slush in Epcot. I'll have to try one when we're there in Nov.

DeleteHaven't stayed there yet. We've had DVC BWV since '91 and it's been on my list since the beginning. Looking at these pictures makes me want to make a ressie now!
ReplyDeleteOooh you would love it, Deb! Hope you get to experience it one day soon! :)
DeleteOooh, I love Vero Beach, stayed there once and - totally worth mentioning this - went for a day trip one time while we were at Disney World!
ReplyDeleteI love that Goofy is manning the restaurant podium, LOL.
Thanks for sharing :)
Oooh that's a neat idea, too...just spending the day at Vero! Isn't Goofy so funny?! The restaurant was so slow that morning, I think him and Donald were slightly bored! Haha!
