I have two favorites, the first being Expedition Everest. I SO wish had taken a ride on EE when I had the chance during the 2013 Marathon (when I ran Goofy). I still to this day don't know why I turned it down. This has been added to my "must do" list and I will definitely make this experience happen during my next Goofy...whenever that may be. Yes, I said "next Goofy" (the girl who said she would never run Goofy again...haven't I learned my lesson on that yet)?
The second is California Screamin! We LOVE this ride at Disneyland and make sure to snag fast passes every time we visit!
Today’s Wordless Wednesday theme is: Wild Ride

Are you a fan of roller coasters? Do you have a favorite "wild ride" at Disney?
My favorite roller coaster is Rock n Roller Coaster. The time I was at MGM and the ride was down for maintenance was a sad day.
ReplyDeleteAwww sad times!!
DeleteI LOVE EE!!! Never been to DL but I'm sure I'd love California Screamin' too!
ReplyDeleteYou would!! :D
DeleteI did not run EE during Goofy either. I wasn't sure how I would feel afterwards so didn't want to take a chance...lol.
ReplyDeleteLacey rode California screamin when we went to DL but I chickened out! I should have rode it :(
That's kinda why I didn't as well...but I definitely plan on it next time!
DeleteI rode it this past year when doing the marathon and it was such an adrenaline high right in the middle when you need it. I will be doing Dopey this time and plan on riding it again. So much fun!
ReplyDelete@heatherlas
I can imagine! Haha! Definitely on my list for next time!!
DeleteI can't imagine doing rides during races! Yall are nuts, but I love it :)
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I can't wait to go back and attempt it again!
DeleteMy favorite wild ride has to be Everest too! I haven't been on it in years though.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun!!
DeleteBoth great selections - we love California Screamin as well. Best of luck at your next Goofy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! :) I don't know when it will be, but I can't wait! Haha!
DeleteYikes! You couldn't get me on that one. Definitely "wild" for me!
ReplyDeleteI understand!! I used to hate roller coasters!
DeleteHey there!
ReplyDeleteNice blog, and LOVE your photos. This is so fun hopping today, because it's reminding me of rides I love but had somewhat forgotten about. ;) I got to ride Everest for the first time on our last trip... had to do so alone because of small and/or scared kids - haha. It was AMAZING!!!
Thanks for sharing *o*
Thanks so much for stopping by!! :)
DeleteI love roller coasters - Everest is great! My fave Disney ride is Tower of Terror. I love that falling sensation!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny...I love roller coasters and thrill rides but don't like falling! I'll ride ToT, just not every single trip! Crazy, I know...lol
DeleteSuch fun photos and great rides! I'm looking forward to spending more time at Disneyland in January!
ReplyDeleteThanks, April! Have a great time!! :)
DeleteI can't ride that! I do hope to run in one of the RunDisney races one day though
ReplyDeleteI understand completely, Casey! :) I used to hate roller coasters!
DeleteI don't do scary roller coasters, but I am very good at waiting while my family enjoys all the thrill rides!
ReplyDeleteWaiting/shopping/people watching is fun, too! :)

DeleteAmazing photos!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lucy!
DeleteMy husband and I enjoy both those rides too! I think that the CA Screamin' track is the same as Rockin' Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios, but not positive.
ReplyDeleteI also love that your pic is of the older set up for DCA. Now the Mickey is on the ferris wheel and the sun burst is on CA Screamin' (I miss going upside down in Mickey's head!)
Oooh now that's cool! I never noticed! Awww sad times...I didn't know they switched the sunburst and the Mickey!! :(
DeleteIt is open during the races? For rides? Did not know that.
ReplyDeleteThe park opens at 9 a.m....by the time most people make it to AK, it's around that time. So, the park's open therefore the ride is open and the route leads you right by the ride entrance...hence the reason a lot of runners decide to jump on for a ride! :)
Deletegah! I'm not a fan lol.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Oh well...LOL
