Now That's A Wild Ride!

Welcome to another (Disney) Wordless Wednesday!  Today's theme is all about wild rides and it was fun to look through everyone's posts to see their perspectives on the subject! (Click on the blue button at the bottom of this post to take you to the linkup!)

I have two favorites, the first being Expedition Everest. I SO wish had taken a ride on EE when I had the chance during the 2013 Marathon (when I ran Goofy). I still to this day don't know why I turned it down. This has been added to my "must do" list and I will definitely make this experience happen during my next Goofy...whenever that may be. Yes, I said "next Goofy" (the girl who said she would never run Goofy again...haven't I learned my lesson on that yet)?

The second is California Screamin! We LOVE this ride at Disneyland and make sure to snag fast passes every time we visit!

  1. My favorite roller coaster is Rock n Roller Coaster. The time I was at MGM and the ride was down for maintenance was a sad day.

  3. I did not run EE during Goofy either. I wasn't sure how I would feel afterwards so didn't want to take a chance...lol.
Lacey rode California screamin when we went to DL but I chickened out! I should have rode it :(

  4. I rode it this past year when doing the marathon and it was such an adrenaline high right in the middle when you need it. I will be doing Dopey this time and plan on riding it again. So much fun!

  9. Hey there!

Nice blog, and LOVE your photos. This is so fun hopping today, because it's reminding me of rides I love but had somewhat forgotten about. ;) I got to ride Everest for the first time on our last trip... had to do so alone because of small and/or scared kids - haha. It was AMAZING!!!

    Thanks for sharing *o*

  15. My husband and I enjoy both those rides too! I think that the CA Screamin' track is the same as Rockin' Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios, but not positive.
I also love that your pic is of the older set up for DCA. Now the Mickey is on the ferris wheel and the sun burst is on CA Screamin' (I miss going upside down in Mickey's head!)

    1. The park opens at 9 a.m....by the time most people make it to AK, it's around that time. So, the park's open therefore the ride is open and the route leads you right by the ride entrance...hence the reason a lot of runners decide to jump on for a ride! :)
