In other racing news, Gone for a Run is hosting yet another virtual race...this time, it's a 5 miler! I love that these races have grown to be so popular among the running community. It's fun to look around Gone for a Run's blog/facebook and see everyone's race recaps and pictures!

In honor of shark week, this virtual run is named the Road Shark 5 Mile Run!
Race packets include:
- Race Shirt (either a Women's Everyday Tee or a Men's Lifestyle Tee)
- Finisher medal
- Race bib (no downloads!)
- Car magnet.
Similar to the 4th of July race, add-ons are available. They range from adorable socks (for only $5!), to arm sleeves and a headband!
I received my packet yesterday and I LOVE the race shirt! It's incredibly soft and comfortable...and...I might have slept in it last night. How cute is the bib, too? It looks as if a shark took a bite out of it! :)

So far, I've participated in the Log Off/Shut Down/Go Run 5K and the All 4 Run 4th of July 4 Miler and I've had a blast with both! I can't wait to see what theme Gone for a Run comes up with next!

Since I have been injured Lacey has been the one doing all these virtual races from GFR. I think she passed on this one. That is a seriously cool medal though.
ReplyDeleteWe actually did do a christmas themed virtual a few years back. It was really fun cus there was snow on the ground and we were doing the #runchat christmas scavenger hunt during the run. Do ya'll get snow in LA?
