Mickey's Birthdayland (Retro)

I was so sad to miss my weekly dose of Disney last week! Thankfully, a new Wednesday is here and it's time again for another Disney Wordless Wednesday!

This week's theme is Retro. I've shared a lot of my "old" WDW photos in a prior themed post, but I found one this week that I've never shared before. This photo was taken during the 1988 Mickey's Birthdayland Celebration in Walt Disney World! I have SO many memories from this trip and enjoyed celebrating Mickey's birthday along with him!

Today’s Wordless Wednesday theme is:
Retro
Host: Deb at Focused on the Magic

Check out the band on the front porch!

Also, Mickey's Birthdayland Celebration was included in the 1988 WDW 4th of July TV Spectacular and I'm pretty sure I watched it at least 10,000 times as a kid! "Anybody for a cheese sandwich?" (My brother and I got a kick out of that line as a kid!)

Awww...thinking about this makes me sad...RIP Mickey's Toontown!

  3. I have an awesome memory of my sister and I, dressed in our early 90s neon best, standing with Minnie Mouse in front of a giant Christmas tree!

  4. I have a memory of my sister and I, dressed in our early 90s neon best, standing with Minnie Mouse in front of a giant Christmas tree! There was hardly anybody in the park that day and we felt like we had her all to ourselves!
