Height: 24 inches
Weight: 12 pounds 11 ounces (per his last MD appt) - I know it's more than that now. As per his last MD appt at 10 weeks, he was in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. We will have all of his newer stats at his 4 month appt in August.
Clothing: Still in 0-3's and some 3's. His sleepers are all size 3 as well and he is in the size S halo sleep swaddle.
Diapers: Size 1 but not long before moving up to size 2. They are still a little big and I'm trying to use up my supply of size 1 before switching him over to 2, so it actually works out on both ends.
Nicknames: Little love, sugar bear, Brayden Bug, Bray, Brayden Boy...we call him something different on the daily! Poor kid is going to be confused as to what his name really is! Hah!

It honestly felt great to be back (and still does), and it's wonderful to return to his sweet little smiling face at the end of the day!
Afternoon nap time is one of my favorite times of the day. I love soaking up the cuddles with this sweet little boy!
Brayden has changed physically so much over the past month and is really growing so fast!
He loves going on walks in the evenings and usually lasts about 2 miles. I purchased an adorable Mickey fan from the Shop Disney app and it fits great in his stroller. We try not to walk outside unless it's after 7:30 p.m. due to the ridiculous Louisiana heat.
I LOVE little baby church clothes and shoes, although I'm not sure Brayden shares my sentiment! Hah!
Speaking of Sundays, we happened to come across Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV this past Sunday morning. It was Brayden's first time to see and hear the hot dog song for real (not just on you tube or in my car) and you should have seen the look on his face! He was so excited!
This month, Jason celebrated his first Father's Day as a dad and we had lunch as a family at McAlisters for the last time before they closed their doors. Sad times, McAlisters.
Brayden has become more and more vocal over the past few weeks. He LOVES to "talk" and answer back when you talk to him. I can't wait to hear a true laugh!
His play mat, boppy lounger, and chimey Mickey have become his favorite things to play with! I usually hang Mickey up on the bar above him and he loves to bat at it with his hand to hear it make noise!
He just started grabbing things and bringing them to his mouth within the past week and a half or so. Pacifiers are just iffy - sometimes he likes them and sometimes he doesn't, although he did discover his thumb recently...sigh.
Tummy time is still...ehh. Sometimes he enjoys it and other times he doesn't. (I sense a pattern here...) It's really just hit or miss. I did purchase a mirror toy to distract him during tummy time...we just began using the toy so I don't have a verdict on it just yet.
Mirrors are another favorite thing and it cracks me up. Once he gets a glimpse of his face in the mirror, he is mesmerized!
Brayden celebrated his first 4th of July yesterday and somehow ended up with three different outfits for the occasion. Luckily, we had an entire weekend to make them all work! I am scared to see what his Christmas wardrobe will look like...yikes poor kid! (I might already own a few Christmas items for him...whoops!)
We also began the transition of Brayden sleeping in our room to Brayden sleeping in his own room! It wasn't easy and I didn't want to do it, but I knew it was necessary. Up until now, he's been sleeping in a rock-n-play in our room by my bed (and he's rapidly outgrowing it). We first began with him in the rock-n-play in his room for a few nights before officially moving him to his bed. So far so good...I'm hoping he keeps it up! Brayden has also continued with the rock star sleeping status! He started sleeping through the night around 5 weeks and hasn't looked back. YAY!
As I've said every time and I'll say it again - time is flying by so fast! I am definitely making sure to cherish the moments and memories we have together. I just love this little kid and am excited to see what month 4 has to hold!
Thanks for following along with our journey!
He is so cute Karen! Glad he is being a good sleeping boy. Fingers crossed for no 4 month sleep regression!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather! Ugh same here!
DeleteThat is great that he is sleeping through the entire night, especially since you are back to work now!

DeleteHe just gets cuter and cuter! Happy to hear going back to work has been good. And what a good sleeper- go Brayden!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Kim!!
DeleteIts amazing how quickly they grow, isn't it? And yay for sleeping through the night! I felt like a new person when my little guy started sleeping through the night. I'm sure you did too.
ReplyDeleteSo amazing! Yes...I'm loving sleep for sure!
