After my run, I took a little time to explore the upper deck of the ship without a ton of people around!
The adult only area on the Fantasy is really nice!
At the last minute (well really, it was the night before), we snagged a brunch reservation at Palo. I REALLY wanted to make up for our "just ok" brunch experience at Remy and I knew everyone would love the brunch menu and experience at Palo! We were so excited they were able to fit us in!
We were seated at a table on the water which offered an amazing view!
Jason asked for "iced tea". Our waiter thought he was funny....
The brunch menu at Palo is incredible!
For starters, we began with some of the offerings along the tables in the alcove.
There was a seafood table, an hors d'oeuvre table, and a breakfast food item table.
Oh yes, and I can't forget the amazing desserts table!
The. Sticky. Buns. Ohhh my goodness they were amazing!
Off the menu itself, we also all split a flatbread and ordered eggs benedict, lasagna, and chicken parmesan. When I say that this lasagna was the best I'd ever had, I mean it. Next time we book a cruise, we are definitely factoring in Palo brunch for sure!
The desserts were divine too!
Our server was even kind enough to take our picture in front of this gorgeous mural!
...and afterwards, my husband had to take his usual "HALO" picture. You see, back in 2008 when we went on our 1st cruise, Jason was all into the Halo video games on the XBox. When he saw the word "Palo", he said "Hey! Look what I can do!" and I snapped a picture. Well we've done Palo brunch three times now and every time, he has to take this picture as a joke....
He no longer plays Halo by the way...haha!
One thing I was really looking forward to on a 7 night Fantasy was the gift of time. On our last Dream cruise, we were only on the ship for four nights and I missed a lot of activities (including the mid-ship detective agency). I made this a "must-do" for this cruise, just to say I played! In the end, my villain was Dr. Facilier from Princess & The Frog!
That evening was semi-formal night and we got all snazzied up again for dinner!
The sunset was another beautiful one!
Before dinner though, we had to stop by the lobby to hear the final tale from the pumpkin tree!
This time, the pumpkins lit up and confetti fell from the ceiling! Fun times! Sadly, I don't remember this story...whoops.
Dinner that evening was in Royal Court and we dined on lobster and steak! (As if we weren't already stuffed from brunch....)
My dessert of creme brulee was delicious too!
Our entertainment in the adult club that night was John Charles and this room was PACKED. He's been on at least two other Disney cruises we've traveled on so we were familiar with his style and his show and he really is funny! We loved it!
After returning to our room, we received those sad "your cruise is almost over" documents.
Another day on the long-awaited Disney Fantasy cruise had come to a close! Up next is our final day where we spent it at Castaway Cay!
Thanks for following along! :)
This looks like so much fun. I'd love to cruise on the Fantasy at some point!

ReplyDeleteThe brunch was amazing and delicious! :) The game usually had mostly kids playing it but I had to do it at least once just to say I did it!
